  • Hello gardeners! My name is Annie. I’m a zone 5B planter, mostly flowers with a few herbs and veggies. I love my tulip bulbs in the spring (which are just now starting to pop up!). My summer favorites are: sunflowers, dusty miller, and marigold. I also have a bed of red and peach roses, and an herb bed with basil, mint, and dill. For the fall, of course, I love my mums and my pumpkins. Gardening is my pleasure and my passion!

What a wonderful website you have here. I’m looking forward to meeting other gardeners and hearing all about your beauties. Happy growing!

    • Hello Annie!! Thanks for introducing your self, have fun here at YourGardenPlanner.com… hoping you ‘dig’ it.

      • Hehe. I will! I got my Brecks catalogue in the mail today, and I’m already garden planning for NEXT Spring. Do bulbs always have to be planted in the Fall? Or can I cheat and plant in the Spring for next year’s bloom?

        • Wow, now that is planning a garden! When to plant bulbs depends a lot on when your bulbs will bloom… also depending on where you live and what the weather, hardiness and soil types are. I do plant bulbs as soon as possible after I buy them … it is just important that they establish their root systems before temperatures freeze.
