Placing Plants in Your Garden

Drag and Drop Method

1. Open the Plant Library panel on the right side
2. Browse or search for the plant you want
3. Click and hold the plant card
4. Drag it onto an empty area of your garden grid
5. Release to place the plant

Mobile & Tablet

On mobile devices, plant placement works differently:

1. Tap an empty grid cell where you want to place a plant
2. A plant selection modal will appear
3. Browse and tap the plant you want to place
4. The plant will be automatically placed in the selected cell

Placement Rules

• No Overlap: Plants cannot overlap with existing plants
• Grid Boundaries: Plants must fit entirely within the garden boundaries
• Space Requirements: Each plant requires its full grid size to be available
